Jim was an original member of the congregational planting team in 2005. He was later licensed as a rabbi in 2010 (IAMCS) and ordained in 2012.  His time at Beth Messiah has been active, as he has led the youth ministry and has been part of liturgical team.

He and his wife Lija are proud of their two daughters, sons-in-law and grandson. He enjoys hanging out with his family and watching the Packers beat up the opposition.

On a personal note, I have always believed that attending a congregational service should be an uplifting experience rather than just a weekly formality.  The Bible tells us that, "The  joy of the Lord is our strength" (Nehemiah 8:10b). Therefore, we try to give you a joyful experience.  My desire is that when you depart from a typical service at Beth Messiah, you will be encouraged in your spiritual journey and feel stronger in the Lord.

My hope is that when you visit us, you will experience the presence of the Lord and if you do not have a congregation you call home, you will consider making Beth Messiah your home.

If you have any questions about Beth Messiah, or if I can serve you in any way, please contact me at my office: 414.395.3043

God bless you and I hope to see you soon!
